A quick note on my experience dying Fission plastic: First, I’m no expert, but I’m finding that dyes done on Fission plastic aren’t retaining their saturation and crispness for more than a season under normal use. I have discs that have been hot dipped, lotion dyed, and dyed with acetone on clear glue, and each has shown fading colors and spreading/leaching of black outlines. (Not all that done on a single disc. This is over a dozen samples with a variety of dye methods.)
Any suggestions, or are you folks seeming similar issues?
