Swirl
Alright, buckle up because we’re about to make some serious spiraling magic happen, Get ready to wow your friends with this airborne spiral spectacle!
We’ll be using 3 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Sonic Blue, Dandelion, and Onyx.
Step 1:
First, drop the Dandelion in 1/4 pie sections opposite from each other.
Second, drop the Onyx in a single line next to the Dandelion.
Third, drop the Sonic Blue to fill the other 1/4 of the pie slice.
Step 2:
Push the black lines tighter by blowing with a straw.
Step 3:
Lift the bed and rotate in your hands slowly in an up and down circular motion. Like you’re trying to move a marble around the edge of the bed.
Step 4:
Blow the middle parts in the direction of the swirls to tighten up the inner lines.
River
Get ready for some seriously rad river action. It’ll be like your own personal little whirlpool, minus the soggy mess!
We’ll be using 4 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Sonic Blue, Dandelion, Creamsicle and Onyx.
Step 1:
Drop Sonic Blue in a line down the entire bed.
Step 2:
Push the line tighter by blowing.
Step 3:
drop Onyx in a single line next to the blue and blow towards the center to tighten up the black lines.
Step 4:
Drop the Creamsicle first, next to the black, then drop the Dandelion in the remaining area on the edge.
Step 5:
Take a toothpick and randomly swirly the Creamsicle and Dandelion together.
Star/Flower
Whether you’re feeling like a celestial explorer or a botanical artist, this one technique has you covered with a creation that’s out-of-this-world awesome!
We’ll be using 4 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Dandelion, Creamsicle, Blood Red, and Onyx.
Step 1:
Drop a ring of Onyx around the outside edge of the bed.
Step 2:
Drop a ring of Blood Red on the edge of the black that you just dropped.
Step 3:
Drop a ring of Creamsicle on the edge of the red that you just dropped.
Step 4:
Drop Dandelion in the center in the remaining space.
Step 5:
Take a toothpick and drag in from the inside to the outside of the bed.
Then drag the toothpick from the outside to the inside and slightly swirly the inside.
Braided Swirl
With the braided swirl technique, you’ll be weaving layers of vibrant hues into a hypnotic spiral pattern that’ll make your plastic look positively hypnotized!
We’ll be using 4 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Sonic Blue, Pansy, Blood Red, and Onyx.
Step 1:
Drop a ring of Onyx around the outside edge of the bed.
Step 2:
Drop a ring of Sonic Blue on the edge of the black that you just dropped.
Step 3:
Drop a ring of Pansy on the edge of the blue that you just dropped.
Step 4:
Drop Blood Red in the center in the remaining space.
Step 5:
Take a toothpick and drag from the inside to the outside and back without removing the toothpick from the bed around the entire bed.
Step 6:
On a Lazy Susan or record player, start on the outside and spin the bed slowly with the toothpick in it in one direction until you get to the center.
Then rotate the bed the other direction and drag the toothpick between the lines you just created starting from the inside moving to the outside.
Braided Swipe
Imagine bold colors intertwining in a mesmerizing braid, creating a vibrant plume that makes your disc look like it sprouted some seriously stylish wings.
We’ll be using 4 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Sonic Blue, Pansy, Shamrock, and Onyx.
Step 1:
Drop a small line of Onyx on the two outside edges of the bed
Step 2:
Drop Sonic Blue down the center first, then drop Shamrock and Pansy in the remaining space
Step 3:
Take a toothpick and swipe from left to right, lifting the toothpick out of the bed each time.
Then swipe the toothpick from right to left.
Step 4:
Now do the same as above, but swipe vertically.
The Agate
Your disc will be rocking those mesmerizing, wavy bands that’ll have everyone dropping their jaw in awe.
We’ll be using 4 Pro Chemical & Dye colors, Sonic Blue, Pansy, Shamrock, and Onyx.
Step 1:
When you fill the bed with clear glue, make sure to under fill it as we’ll be adding more as we go.
Drop your first color using 6-15 drops of dye.
Step 2:
After each color, add more clear glue to the bed to make space for the next color
Step 3:
Keep alternating the colors until the entire bed is filled with dye.
