Contest Overview:
Get ready to bring your spookiest, most creative ideas to life because the 2024 Disc Golf Dyers Guild Halloween Disc Dyeing Contest is officially ON! 👻🔥 Tag your friends, start brainstorming, and let’s see what you’ve got!
Entry Period: Starts October 1st, 2024, at 12:00 AM CST. Ends October 31st, 2024, at 11:59pm
Voting Period: Runs concurrently with the entry period, so encourage your friends, family, and fans to vote!
Categories:
- Category 1: Use the special Halloween stencils provided by the Guild, designed by talented artists Kob One Art, 20 Arms, and Keith Kamikawa. Download these stencils for free from our shop!
- Category 2: Freestyle! Use any stencil or even hand-paint your disc to create a unique masterpiece.
- Category 3: “Bed Dyes Only” – showcase your skills without using stencils or hand-painting. Think spin dyes, flow beds, and more.
- Bonus Category: In addition to the three main categories, there’s a special Best Photo contest for the most creatively photographed disc. This will be judged by the Dyers Guild council.
How to Enter:
- You can submit as many discs as you’d like, but only one entry per day!
- Get your friends to vote for your entry every day—each person can vote once daily.
Prizes:
- Category 1 Winner: $100 gift coupon for the Disc Golf Dyers Guild online shop (excludes vendor items) + two white dyeable discs.
- Category 2 Winner: $100 gift coupon for the Disc Golf Dyers Guild online shop (excludes vendor items).
- Category 3 Winner: $50 gift coupon for the Disc Golf Dyers Guild online shop (excludes vendor items).
- Best Photo Category: Win a retro-inspired briefcase record player!
