We’ve handpicked these items because they’re tried-and-true items that can really improve your disc dyeing experience. Whether they help simplify the process or give your designs that extra pop, these are the things we wouldn’t want to dye without.
Two out of the three colors I ordered were ok, but the turquoise color didn’t work well on any discs. The neon orange showed more of a pink on a couple discs too, and these were all white discs to start with. That said, can’t beat the price for the samples and they arrived quickly and with instructions on different dying methods. Overall, I would recommend them and I will definitely be trying more colors in the future
Using only the shaving cream method at this point…
The yellow, reds & blues have taken well to most plastics I’ve tried… letting them all sit for 24hrs @ room temp.
I was surprised that 3 different blacks only became a dark gray on MVP neutron plastic after several attempts while using a stencil. Only after using a cherry red and sonic blue combo 2X more did i get a super dark purple close enough to pass for black.
Other than not understanding why COAL BLACK, DUNGEON & ONYX didn’t take as well as other dyes on that same plastic… it’s still a great product.
I have had fun trying different techniques with this method and making my own stencils.
The dyes have worked great and been so much fun to use!
